A new post from President Trump on Truth Social has sparked a lot of discussion as the 47th head of state issued a directive to the newly formed Digital Asset Task Force to create a strategic crypto reserve.
The U.S. crypto reserve will elevate this critical industry after years of corrupt attacks by the Biden administration, which is why my executive order on digital assets directs the Presidential Task Force to move forward on a crypto strategic reserve that includes XRP, SOL and ADA.

Donald Trump then clarified that the cryptocurrency strategic reserve would also include the two largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization:

As I understand it, having a reserve would mean that the government would hold cryptocurrency accumulated through various investigations, while the reserve would ultimately represent whatever the Treasury decides to buy and hold, Rebecca Rettig, chief legal officer at Jito Labs, commented on the US president’s publication.
Of course, the market responded with growth, and the price of BTC rose to $94,500 from a daily low of $85,000.
